The Short Version
We don’t collect your data. Period.
Our apps are designed to work entirely on your device. We have no servers collecting information, no analytics tracking your behavior, and no advertising partners interested in your profile.
What We Don’t Collect
- Personal Information — We don’t ask for your name, email, or phone number
- Usage Data — We don’t track how you use our apps
- Device Information — We don’t collect device identifiers or specifications
- Location Data — We don’t access or store your location
- Anything Else — If it’s data, we’re not collecting it
How Our Apps Work
Our applications process information entirely on your device. When you use our apps:
- All processing happens locally on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac
- No data is transmitted to external servers
- No accounts are required
- No internet connection is needed for core functionality
Third-Party Services
Our apps don’t integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. What happens on your device stays on your device.
Crash Logs
If your app crashes, Apple may collect anonymous crash logs to help us fix the issue, but only if you have explicitly opted in to share crash data with developers in your iOS settings. We do not collect any custom analytics or tracking data ourselves.
Data Retention
Since we do not have accounts or servers, we do not (and cannot) retain your data. Upon deletion of the app from your device, all associated data is immediately and permanently removed.
Government Requests
We take a simple approach to government requests: we can’t share what we don’t have. Since we do not store customer data on our servers, we are technically unable to respond to requests for user data, logs, or activity history.
System Backups
Your device ecosystem (e.g. iCloud, iTunes Backups) may create copies of your data as part of standard device restoration features. This data is managed by your operating system provider and is subject to their privacy policies.
Business Transfers
In the unlikely event that Something Punny LLC is acquired, we have no user data to transfer. The app code and intellectual property would transfer, but your personal data remains on your device, under your control.
Your Rights
Since we don’t collect data, there’s nothing to:
- Access or download
- Correct or update
- Delete or export
This isn't a limitation—it's the point. You maintain complete control because we never had access in the first place.
Children’s Privacy
Our apps don’t collect information from anyone, including children. There are no age restrictions because there’s no data collection to protect against.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change this policy, we’ll update this page. But honestly, “we don’t collect your data” is pretty hard to change while maintaining our principles.
